Lexi Thompson will be looking to leave a mark at the
2023 Shriners Children's Open title as she becomes the seventh woman to play on the PGA Tour.
What to know about Thompson
The American star has acquired 11 victories on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour, and began her professional career at the age of 15.
Thompson set a then-new record as the youngest-ever winner of an LPGA event - at age 16 years, seven months, and eight days, when she won the Navistar LPGA Classic.
The 2014 Chevron Championship winner will be the third female player ever to play in a predominately men’s tournament when she tees off at the TPC at Summerlin.

Thompson took part in the 2023 Ascendant LPGA Benefiting Volunteers of America which was the most recent event on the 2023 LPGA Tour calendar and she finished fifth.
The 28-year-old is currently placed 25th on the Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings and her best-ever ranking is sixth.

Thompson previously played with men six times in the unofficial PGA Tour event, the QBE Shootout, and she pointed out that it has boosted her game and mentality.
Having set several records in the LPGA, the Coral Springs-born golfer will be looking to make history by becoming the first female to win a PGA event this weekend.
